Just Do It

Recently the idiot box had been playing an ad from Nike Air.The ad kind of gave me an inspiration or motivation.The ad starts with the scene of an alarm clock waking up a person.Then it continues with a sleepy person waking up and prepared to a training session as in sports.Subsuqently various scene shows a few athlete with different training session which includes swimming,running,cycling and many more.After watching it I fell kind of wanna kick off an exercising routine.For about two months of eating,sleeping and lepaking I have gained weights back.Gambatte ne.......

Subtitle

Of all the drama series that I got from my friend it comes with no subtitle.So I found this website www.forom.com that is really convenient.Now i enjoyed moe watching the drama series such as LOst,Smalville,Prison Break and The oc with the presence of subtitle.I wonder how diligent the person that pepared those subitle because most of the subs are done by the same person...

Job Interview

This is my 1st time of such experience of job interview.Before this I only had one experience of interview regarding the JPA scholarship.So, the interview is at Golden Hope Plantation Berhad.Initially I had no intention to apply for the position.A friend of mine who just work there for about a week said that their department is looking for staff.So, I said why not try, for the sake of gaining the experience of job interview.So before the session I prepared a little by reading newspapers,company backgrounds and so on.I also searched on the tips and hints on attending interview and found out that the Lowyat.Net forum was really useful.A day before the interview I met my friend that work there to get some hints on the interview.Then the night before I slept quite late at 2am because I didn't prepare any cover letter so I had to go to cyber cafe at 12 midnite to prepare one.Luckily the template from Graduan website simply do the trick.

Then the day of interview I woke up as early as 6am.I left Ar's home at 7.15am and arrived at the PNB tower an hour later.There I met another friend of mine whose also attending the interview session.Soon as we arrived at level 19 we contacted Amin and he guided us to the Department.We had to fill the form and then me as the lucky number one for the session.The panel consist of two person, A Lady and A Man.The interview takes about half an hour.I had anticipated very much of the question such as "Tell me 'bout yourself","Were you involved in leadership role" and much more standard question during interview.I think I did OK for the interview.

Kancil

My sister just paseed her driving test and now she's busy asking for a car as in Kancil from my dad and mom.Yeah whatever..kids these days, simply asks for a car after finishing driving test.As far as I remember I don't get any car when I passed the driving test..Hmmm...Poor my mom and dad..had to fork out money to see their children happy..

Muck

I rarely watched the Homegrown show at 8tv,the show where they feature a local band,some tips with the instrument and live recording.then one night without any attention I turn on the 8tv and the shows just about to start.So I watched them.The band that featured on that day was Muck.Honestly I did heard of the band and I know that the band was from Ipoh but I never heard of their songs before.Ok then,to my surprise when the band were introduced I saw some familiar faces in the band.I'm certain that the bassist is an old time school friend of mine.All of sudden I'm getting excited and follow the show till the end.I'm not havin a problem recognizing the face because I actually just met him sometime during the Raya time..Read the Ol' Sri Kinta Boys entry.

Form the last meeting he never mentioned bout playing in a band or somethin,but he did mentioned that his life was on the road.I don't know if they were jokin' but they said that he got no home as in homeless..Nah I don't know..But certainly I am proud that one of my friend make it to the local scene...

The countdown starts today

Officially I report to the JPA today of my finished studies.Early in the morning me and other buddies headed to Uitm to print the temporary transcript.Initially it not went to well as the staff at the office whose in charge of those transcript thingy was not available.Then we have to face the not so kind staff at other office to print the transcript.Somehow during the process we had to rush to Bendahari to pay for the transcript and went back to get it.The system also hang but luckily we managed to get it done.Since it is early we zoomed to Putrajaya with the help of Areza.Finding the place was not tough since I just went to putrajaya last Sunday.We had luch at Alamanda and straight after that to JPA building.The procedure was quite simple.We need to fill another 2 copies and then he validated that we have report.The very next thing I had to do is fill in the SPA 8 form.

Tea Tarik and Spareparts

Early in the morning we had breakfast of nasi lemak and roti canai at my cousins house.As I had the sip of the tea tarik then I realised somethin' special bout the tea.It was no ordinary tea.Then I drink a bit more and then I certainly feel that this tea was not made by my cousin,It was the mamak's tea.Haha.. turns out to be true..they even bought the tea..Actually it is no a big deal but As for my family it was normal to buy food outside but for tea tarik..Hmm..Not in a million years...

After the breakfast,mom,dikda and kakdik went to Jalan TAR shopping while me and dad circling around KL to find various spareparts for the classic bikes and Volkswagen.We went to Sentul to buy the tyre for the bikes.Turns out they were really cheap here as according to my dad if it were in Ipoh the tyre would cost Rm200 for 1 while we got it for only RM 140 at Sentul.Then we headed to Jalan Ipoh to search fOr the Volkswagen parts then.Of course my dad had along conversation with the guy at the shop because obviously they share the same interest..Somehow I got enlightened by the major parts of the volkwagen car during the chat.

Back to Sabah

Today I,m going to KLIA with family to send my sister who is going back to Sabah for the 2nd semester.We departed from home as early as 9am as the flight is on 3pm.We stopped at Dengkil RnR and had satay kajang there.As we arrived Klia it was 12pm and we hangout there for about 2 hours till my sis checked in to the flight.Then, we headed to Putrajaya and late lunch and Pizza Hut Alamanda.The crowd was overwhelming.After that we went to Gombak..my uncle house.We had dinner at seafood restaurant somewhere near and we spend the night at my cousin house in Wangsa Maju.

Airasia Airbus Celebration

Currently Airsia is offering 2 million free seats in celebration the newly bought Airbus by the company.i did booked the free seats for my parents.Again they decided to go to Sabah.The cost for the tickets only 40 that is rm25 for the airport taxes and Rm15 for the fuel surcharge.

Camping

Me and the other buddies are considering to go camping for this semester break.We have planned to camp at Teluk Batik and Pangkor Island.We've done research on the stuff needed for camping purposes such as those peripherals that necessary to hold a bbq party,sleeping bag and foods.Initially it was 8 of us but at last in was only the 4 of us that managed to go camping.Thus,the plan was cancelled instead we only go to the beach only.Somehow we did put up the tent to get the feeling of camping.After the beach trip I got bad sunburn on my face.The skin badly mengelupas.it takes about a week to recover the skin back.

Selamat Tinggal Shah Alam

Its been a week that I'm home.As usual I utilised this first week to recover back the sleep that I lost during the final exam period.So basically I woke up late everyday except of weekends cause of my mom will force me to wake up early.I left Shah Alam for good on monday evening n arrived at 9.30pm home.As soon as I arrived Misya came to my house to copy all the stuff that I brought back.Somewhere during the week I managed to go play pingpong twice but this time we got a new port that is more convenience.It is more cheaper and closer to home.It is Rm5 for 2 hours session.Furthermore we booked one table but we can use up to 3 tables cause the place is rarely full with people.We also managed to go to mandi sungai but the luck was not on our side cause as we arrived the rains pour heavily.Somehow we mandi a little bit during the rains to compliment the effort that we make to go mandi sungai.

Sri Kinta Ol' Boys

Early in the morning Misya called me asking for breakfast at Nasmir.We go there by car and coincidentally we met with a bunch of old primary school mates there.Initially I waved hands and then shake hands with them and inadvertently we joined them having breakfast.Those are friends that I last met back 10 years then.Everyone changing.Everyone with their own agenda now.We chatted a bit about old school memories.Who already got married.Who goes overseas and who worked where and such things.I dont know them very much but I recognized them.Somehow it was the unofficial reunion of Sri Kinta ol' boys since I went there with Misya whom his alma mater is also Sri Kinta.

Incomplete

My little sister studying in Uitm Sabah is not back during the Hari Raya holiday cause of financial constraint and considering that a week after raya the final exam starts.So for the first time,our family members is not complete during Hari Raya.My mom did send some Hari Raya cookies for her.I guessed what is she doing over there during the morning of Raya.Since the relatives over there are back to Peninsular Malaysia,she has nobody besides friends to celebrate Raya..

Laptop

Currently I'm doing a research on a laptop cause my little sister want to buy one.This time around I looked out for the branded one because I've had the experience of the clone ojne before to be exact Prestigio.It sucks big time..The buddget is not much around Rm3k something.The possible candidates are Acer Travelmate 2419Ncli and HP Compaq Evo.The specification of the two are same but the latter are expensive by Rm100.This two model are quite cheap because it does not came with the pre-installed OS.The one with Celeron processors are even cheap for about RM 2.5k.I'm thinkin of Centrino based considering that this is a one time investment..so spend some RM on the processor.Other features which includes Built in Wifi,Combo Drive,40gb hdd and 256 ddr2 ram.Somehow I figured out that there are moving trends happened here,everytime my sister got accepted to University they get a laptop except for me..Hmmm weird..

Veggie

One midnite I'm lookin for somethin' as a late nite snack.So, I went to the kitchen and look up for snacks or chips all over the cabinet.Later I opened the fridge.What the heck happened..There are vegetables all over the places.So I guessed where all this come from.Moreover there are some exotic vegetables I guessed which I never seen before.Among others are tomatoes,sawi,capsicum,chillis,mini cabbage,strawberry and many more..I'm stunned for a while..Why..my mom hardly cook and prepare veggie meals..Furthermore our family are not so veggie friendly..The first thing in the next morning I asked what's up with all the veggie..then I learned that a friend of my mom that resides in Cameron Highland come over to visit and all those veggie are her 'buah tangan'..Hmm..whatever..must take quite some time to finish all those veggies..
