TRIP TO KLCC

Today the class of Internal Audit had a academic visit to the KlCC particularly the Internal Audit department of Petronas.We departed from Uitm at 11pm which is supposedly to be 9pm and arrived at The KLCC around 12pm.It was three of us Me, Mike and Abduh that are guys whilst the remaining 30++ people are girls.The lady at the sky bridge also keeps asking me about the phenomena.She keeps firing question such as "why there's only three of you only guys","how does it feels being the minority" and "did the girls bully u all".I can't help but to layan je lah the lady.

As soon as we arrived at the KLCC we've given free time on our own and we have to meet at Tower 1 lobby on 2.15pm.We headed towards Sonystyle@KLCC and tried everything under the roof which includes Playstation,HAndyCam,DigiCam, and the computer there.After that,we headed to Pelita Nasi Kandar to satisfy our cravings.Since its the peak time we have to queue a long way to get the food.But it's all worth it.

After the Friday prayer at KLCC mosque@Masjid As-Syakirin we proceeed to the serious business.Before the talk we had the opportunities to visit the bridge that connects the two Petronas Twin Tower or so called sky bridge.The bridge is situated at level 41 and 42 and opens to public actually.They had a briefing and let us takes pictures.The session takes about 30 minutes.

After that,we had the talk at the Internal Audit Department.The talk was quite good.They had a good speaker.She was so active and friendly during the presentation.During the get to know each other process everyone of us including the lectures had to blew up a balloon.Then we are grouped into the colour of the balloon and we have to write the name and our origin includes the ambititon.Somehow this techniques the ice between us and the speaker.She also got a lot of KitKat stock which is given during the presentation for students that participate in the session.
We arrived Shah Alam around 7pm and then I caught up a severe fever and just sleep for the rest of the night.

Sabah

Today all my family members departed from home to Sabah.My little sister got a place at Uitm Sabah.They will board a 11pm Airasia tonite.After sending them to the bus station i went to Yik fong to meet epoy,ijam and Am maybe for the last time because after this the semester will open.Right now I'm home all by myself and accompanied by my grandma.Besides I got a lot work to do...feeding the cat,rooster, and fish,watering the plants and lot of chores.

Day Four

As early as 8pm we headed to the beach which is just 2 minutes walk from the room.Spend some time walking along the beach,swimming,bury some people and then we zoomed to the swimming pool again before we checked out.We had our brunch at Port Dickson and then Ar send us to Puduraya.I bought some poster at Puduraya.There goes our little holiday which costs us around RM200 per person.We arrived Ipoh around 6pm.

Day Three

Early in the morning my father called said that he want to send the motorbike today.So later I've met my father at Giant and park my motorbike at Ar's house then we headed to Pokli's house to pick him.Then we travelled to Port Dickson by the highway and arrived at the seaside at about 5pm.We proceed along the seaside aimlessly with the intention to search for a cheap place to lodge.Somehow the luck is not on our side we've searched till 7pm and none is cheap or reasonable.

Then we have to decide.Lastly we lodged at a resort owned by Risda for Rm140.The room got 2 queen sized bed and we got 2 dinner voucher.After the buffet dinner we've gone out to the seaside somewhere near Teluk Kemang and not much happening activities there.We've decide to go back to the room and then spend some time swimming at the pool.

Day Two

As early as 7pm we woke up have a breakfast and then we departed from Ar's home to the KL Sentral to buy the ticket to genting.The package cost us RM25 for return cable car and bus transfer and outdoor theme park.Nothing much has change at Genting except they managed to build a new thrill ride so called Flying Coaster.This time I got the chance to try the Space Shot,Bumper Boat besides the old thrill rides that I 've used to ride last year.We left Genting at 7pm and then asked Pokli to fetch us at KL sentral.Later that night Pokli bring us to a dine place somewhere near Kampung Baru.

As soon as we arrived at the dine place somehow I had a glimpse of the place before, and then I remember that the place was reviewed by the Jalan2 Cari Makan.The place serves Western Food and they had a great landscape with old boats and lots of antiques.Ijam had a prawn sphagetti,Ar with Chicken Chop and Pokli with whatsoever called chicken meal.Me and Epoy had nothing since we've fueled our tank early at Genting.Somehow we've chatted,spontaneously the idea to travel to Port Dickson came.So we've set to travel to Port Dickson the next day.Later we've asked Pokli to send us to Section 7.Only Jon and Amri was available at home since Ady and Pali were outstationed to Johor.We've spend the night watching the game between Japan and Brazil.

Genting Highlands Revisited

It's been exactly a year since last I visited Genting Highland.If last year I've gone with Areza,Mike and Awe this time I went with buddies from Ipoh.Since we want to do it traveller's style,thus we travelled from Ipoh by bus.

Ijam picked me up with his newly bought Waja and dropped me at Epoy's house.There I have my lunch and after Zohor we board a bus from Taman Jati.It was the three of us.Me, Epoy and Ijam.Boarding a city bus is kinda give me a deja vu since it's been ages that I last board a city bus.The bus stopped at Old Bus Station yet we have to board another bus to the newly build Medan Gopeng Bus Station.

Luckily as we arrived at the Bus terminal there is a bus which is about to depart and without wasting any time we board the bus.The bus fare from Ipoh to KL had hiked from RM11.30 to RM 14.By the way we took a 3 seater bus.

We arrived at the Hentian Puduraya at about 6pm.Wothout further due we proceed to the Commuter Station at Railway station.We stopped at Subang Jaya terminal and tehn Ar picked us up.Later that night we've done nothing except chatting and eating and sleeping..

Go Genting
Me and the other buddies are planning a trip to Genting a week from now.We've planned a 3 days 2 night trip with a budget of Rm200 per person.As I am quite broke nowadays,I've sold my precious sony Discman to my little sister for Rm250.According to the plan we want to extend the trip to Japan GT.But it all depends on the budget though....

NASI KANDAR PELITA........addicted

I don't know why since Nasi Kandar Pelita open its premises here at Tesco it is kinda phenomenal for me..and the other buddies..At least we have to eat there once a week and the meal was a default set of rice,fried chicken wing,cabbage and kari campur accompanied by iced tea.The set costs 5 bucks...
Not a month later Nasi Kandar Nasmir also opens their premises nearby but their standard and taste is not up to Pelita's.In Pelita we can actually feel the curry particle and as said by Ijam our routine is called the meditation for the week..

Dvd Endurance
Since I've been doing nothing after the practical training has ended. I've used the time to finished all the old dvd that I've purchased long time ago but haven't watched it yet.Among the title are...

City of God
This is absolutely a must see movie for all .The story line is brilliant and the plot and direction from start to end is very interesting.As a matter of fact is is inspired by true story..

Insomnia
Also one of the best dvd that I've watched.Recommended

Fireworks
The story line is damn slow.Although this movie won some awards at the film festival,I don't see what so special about this movie.Absolute waste of time and money...MAybe who appreciate arts and understands it may like it...

Incubus alive at Red Rocks
Definitely for the fans only.Recorded at the Red Rocks Colorado.The event was held on an open air amphiteather.The view is stunning and the overall concert is an absolute satisfaction.Features songs from Science,Make Yourself,Morning View and A crow left of the Murder album plus one unreleased track titled Pantomine which features Brandon the singer playing guitar..

K-Pax
Starring Kevin Spacey,the storyline was pretty good as it keeps me guessing right to the end.The puzzles revolves around whether Kevin Spacey supposedly mentallly illed in this movie is really an alien when he claimed that he is from another planet in other galaxy called K-pax.

L.A Confidential
Another movie starring Kevin spacey.Actually I've seen this movie before on TV3 some time ago,but by watching the DVD version I got a better understanding on the plot.somehow the story line very much alike The Usual Suspect and The Negotiator where there is a twist before the story ends.

THE LAST DAY

Today marks the 6th month that I have enduring the practical training.All in all I have learned a lot during this period.This includes the things that I have learned in Uni plus a lot of other side things.Since I'm doing the practical training in the Chinese firm,I 've used this opportunity to learn some basic cantonese.Thanks to the very helpful colleague.I also began to layan Mandarin and Cantonese songs.This must have contributed by the 6 month period of Mandarin songs particularly the MY.FM radio station.

INSPECTOR RAHMAN

Today Rahman,the old faculty mates of mine contacted me and told me that he got an interview for the inspector position in the police force.Thus I invited him to come over to my place as the interview is held at the PGA camp at Ulu Kinta.Early the next morning before off to work I send him to the place as early as 8am although the registration ends at 5pm...Good Luck Man with the interview.....

I'm thinkin of buyin' Pstwo in my next paycheck but after doig some research on the net..It seems like the modchip used in the Slim Ps2 stil not stable.A lot of people experiencing problems.I might wait till I grad to get hands on the Gran Turismo 4

1 month to go

By the time I wrote this I just got my fifth paycheck.Tomorrow also the 2 ahmoi are leaving..So after this no more ahmoi gedik...only serious ahmoi only..Hmmm what to do..Everything must come to an end..Honestly I enjoyed my time here with them keep company..Before they came,the office was quite boring with everyone concentrating on job with only little chat or jokes.But after they came, the office was never be the same again...There are a lot more talk and jokes than work..The supervisor must be pissed off by her...Although most of the jokes are lost in translation but I did get some by the help of the colleague who are willing to translate the joke to me..

Last month The boss raised my allowance by RM 1 per day..so I got about rm 20 plus increment per month.It's not bad I think since I am only a trainee and I'm just 4 month here.
Last week I did find some time to travel to KL to accompany Epoy to buy his PC.We travel by car on Wednesday after Isyak.We stopped by at Tapah to buy some food.As soon as we arrived KL we headed to Damansara Uptown and meet Azhar there.After some chat and a little bit of window shopping we zooomed to Azhar's new house in Subang.We spend the rest of the night at Azhar house.

Early the next morning,after having some delicious breakfast we headed to Shah Alam to pick up Pidos the technical advisor and then we headed to KLIA because I have to catch my flight at 12pm..No just kidding...we headed to KLia to pick up Ijam's lover..After that we go to the 365 days of PC FAir @ low Yat Plaza to complete the mission.Finally everything was set and the system is AMD64 3000,1gb ddr ram,ati radeon 9600 pro,spankin' 17" samsung lcd and a massive 120gb sata hard drive.The total expenditure was somewhere closed to RM 4000.I remember that I also spent the same amount of money for those freakin old Celeron 300mhz system back in 1999.

Later that night we went out and ate at SS 15 Subang Jaya and coincidentally it was Friday Night and Latte@8 is on tonight.So we decided to pay a visit..When we arrived, we was quite late and the first guest that is Saiful Apek just finished.The band that performed that night was quite cool though.Their song is so catchy till I couldn't here what the singer sang..
After that we headed to Merdeka Square since we have made appointmnet with Ar ,Is,Rehan and Loba but sadly when we arrived everyone has leaved besides Ar.I was told that LOba has some serious interview to attend the next day...

After having some tea at Bangsar we leave and back to Shah Alam.Early the next day I went to the Faculty to take the result slip and bills,but sadly the bill is gone.I couldn't trace who took it.So it's gonna cause me a problem if I couldn't find it before the registration day...

In other updates I also got a brand new 80gb Western digital Hard drive for RM205 at Low YAt plaza....

GOOD MORNING

Dear avid readers,It 6.52am in the morning and usually at this time I should buckle up and ready for work..but don't worry.. It is a public holiday here in Perak because it is the birthday of our Sultan.Although it is a holiday,I can't help myself from woke up early in the morning,it is becoming a habit..a good habit in a way..

Let's talk a lil' bit about work.April is the most hectic month of all month..This is because we have a lot of personal tax case to be done by 30th April.Furthermore the IRB is implementing a new system,the Sistem Taksiran Sendiri..When doing tax I have a encountered a lot of people with different financial background.

It actually makes me thinking that,if we want to be rich it is nearly impossible if we depends only on employment.It is either by doing business or involve in the investment in quoted shares.As for me,I am quite a risk-averse person,thus this 2 sector is very much not suitable for me..But somehow I have to change this attitude if I want to drive big car,live in big house and travel around the world.

I don't know if the above statement makes me look like a materialistic person,but I personally think that everyone has the same dream of being rich.However being rich is not everything in this world.

At the office two new ahmoi came in to do practical training and they were from UUM.So the office is now packed with people with every seat fully booked.The boss even have to buy a new table.As for me I have about one more month to go.I really appreciate my time here although the workload is damn a lot.Here I have a chance to meet the former practical trainee whose currently working at KPMG.I actually use the opportunity to ask her a lot of questions with regards to the career in the accounting professions,some interview tips and a lot more.

But somehow it is not relevant for me,as I have to serve the government for the next six years as part of the contract.I only be free to go private by 30 years old.It is quite old already to enjoy.

Yesterday,Black called me and we chatted a lot about work.From what i heard theyn are having a hard time there as they have do do overtime until the midllle of the night.Even worse another friend is doing overtime until 5 in the morning.I was lucky that the firm does not require us to do overtime.But the sure thing is, their resume will look great with experience of working in the Big 4 audit firm.

By end of this week I was thinking of travelling to Kl to accompany Epoy to build his super pc.Hopefully it is a super pc,with a budget of nearly Rm4000.He opted to go 17 inch Lcd,and Amd64 system.If there is no problem coming,we will go by car on Wednesday after work and I have to apply for a leave on Friday.

HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY

Today marks the 1st anniversary of megalomaniak.blogspot.com been online.So this post will be the special bumper edition of 1st anniversary.Although the age is one but I believe that the entry to this blog is not that much.I rarely update this blog.It depends on mainly my mood to write.

As for now I hardly find any time to blog.The existence of this blog also very much depends on the help with the technical aspect from pidos,credit to pidos for so much help to make this blog works..Actually my first attempt to blog has been long due because of lack with the technical aspect.I have other blog sites that been left behind with one entry.Blogger.Com must be angry if they know that the site is left untaken care of.

It's the end of March and I have been working for nearly 4 months.Still waiting for my 4th paycheck.I kinda excited for this month because my principal had told me that he will raise my allowance as a form of encouragement.So I don't know how much the increase.Hopefully it will be a significant amount.I don't know whether my other Uitm co-worker get the raise also.

At the office one of the new staff at the firm (2 months only) quit from the job.For lack of better words I should say that she's kinda got sacked.It is because The boss didn't say anything to her except that the supervisor had advice her with regards to her performance.

2 days later 2 new hot chick came in as a new staff...Again I have to be the teacher to them to teach on certain audit work.They were a bunch of Stpm candidates who waited for their result.Honestly it's kinda hard to concentrate at work with sexy amoi with 'gedik' kind of attitude.But what to do,I can't help myself.. Here a piece of advice from Mike through the SMS (Keje itu adlh tanggungjawab kite,hubungan antara bos perlu dieratkn to ensure hubungan yg mesra,amoi2 perlu dijaga hatinya, amoi short skirt, high heel,blonde,red hair,ebony,plumper,big j**gs, semua itu perlu dijaga hatinya bagi mengelakkan sebarang unsur sexsual harassment, walaupun ko kuat s@x, kawal la diri, tak pun ko p toilet buat perkara sepatutnye)..At first I laugh out loud when got the sms,I don't know what his intention are..maybe he's just bored down south of the border of Malaysia..However thanks Mike for very meaningful advice...What can I say Mike..same goes to you..

As for now I have encountered a lot of things that I learned during the diploma days.However most of them is already forgotten..To note a few I've encountered Real Property Gain Tax(RPGT)..Hire Purchase accounting..and a lot of taxation subject...Since the firm also do tax services,thus I get a hands on calculating tax for individual,company and partnership..In addition I was grateful that I learned the company secretarial practice last semester..The subject really helps a lot where I can really relate on what I learned..It seems like if you were to work as Auditor Basically you have to know everything from A to Z about accounting or else how are gonna give a true and fair view opinion on financial statements.

In other updates my little sister got his Spm results and it was not good either.She got 4a 4b and 2c.In the uPU application most of the choice that she made is in Uitm.If she made it to the Uitm then it will be the 3 of us in Uitm.Right now she is in Bkt Mertajam suffering from PLKN programme.Last week we pay a visit to the camp and clearly she's not having a good time there.Ironically my neighbour also stays at the same camp and how in earth she doesn't notice her.The place is a durian farm and it is new.So the place is too hot with a few tree.Luckily I don't managed to get into PLKN programme.From my point of view, The management also suck big time..First of all, my sister does not get the offer letter by the time she has to report for the programme.Basically she just sign in by the printout from the internet.Secondly they do not have a enough place.From the stories, they have to scouting in some other people room.Since the management is still new,it can be forgiven...but not forgotten..

Last night I stayed up late to watch a late night movie title High Heels Low Life starring Minnie Driver on TV3.The movie was quite good where I ended up laughing by myself in the middle of the night.The movie is set in Britain about a pair of friends in their attempt to blackmail a group of bank robberers.The story line is simple and full of spontaneous humour.Other movies that I have seen lately is Harold & Kumar goes to white castle.This is also another brilliant movie.This story is very much alike Road Trip starring Tom Green but this time the adventure is to go to the White Castle.

As for games I hardly play Need for Speed now because of no time.By the way there are a lot of interesting programme on 8tv right now.With The OC,Niptuck,ANTM,Arrrested Developement, The Apprentice and many more.

Zul did asked me to accompany him to KL to pick up his sister at Uiam.But it is on Monday so I can't because I have an audit case to be ready by 31st March and I had an appointment with client on Monday.Even that was the case, I have to find some time to travel to Kl to return back the loaned Geforce FX5200.I was thinking on the 19th April during the public Holiday.Furthermore I had some business to deal with Pn. Zanariah.

The Heat is On

Today the bosses treat us and all the staff to lunch.For the Chinese staff they ate together at the restaurant and for the malays they gave us the money to eat.We decided to go with KFc and ate at the office.After the lunch again they opened a table and this time the deal is much more higher.Before that a client came and gave all the staff an angpow before they start gambling..The bosses asked me to join them..but I got excused by saying that I didn't know how to play 'em.Then the boss released me and the other co-worker early.

In other updates nowadays the weather is quite hot.Every night I ended up woke up in the middle of the night sweating.So I am planning to get an affordable 1HP air-conditioner in my next paycheck.It seems like I have to cancel the plan to buy the Xbox this April...I did survey the electrical shop nearby and the cheapest around is Mistral for RM800.The guy at the shop said that the model sold like "goreng pisang panas".They ordered 100 units before Chinese New Year and it is sold out including the display set.On the day that I came to the shop they have installed 22 units that day.

A little bit about work.I have settled auditing the Hardware shop and now I moved on a Tepung Beras mill.This time it is darn hard.They print the ledger by months,the invoice,voucher is everywhere.According to the staff the accountant also is so hard to deal with since he is old old man and still use conventional method.Besides they also have construct own factory,so it is darn hard to do verification of assets.I have to go through all the invoices for the construction.

Soroton 2 Bulan

So it's been a month or two since last I wrote...So many things has happenend even I don't know how to sum it in only one entry...All this while I didn't have the time to update the blog absolutely caused by the abundance workload.But I did find a time to go to Kuala Lumpur to get a new system replacing the old 1999 celeron system..a week before

So finally this is the major upgrade I made to the old system after replacing the hard disk and cd-rw some time ago...This time I got a used Pentium 4 1.7ghz and a Gigabyte motherboard that supports sdram for total of rm250..A new black coloured casing with side panel for rm 76..a new optical mouse and a Samsung keyboard..To complement the black set I planned to buy altec lansing atp3 during the visit to Low yat but realising that I travel with bus..I cancelled the plan and instead I bought the set for rm 175 in Ipoh..20 bucks higher than what I can get in Lowyat Plaza..A friend of mine also loaned me a Geforce Fx5200 since he's not using it much at the moments..

During the visit to Kl I got a chance to meet a lot of friends since they also paying a visit to the 'rumah kongsi' during that week.We got to chat a lot of our experience during the practical training..So during the visit I got a couple of dvd's since they sold it 3 for ten at Sg Wang plaza..Besides I got to loan some other titles includes The terminal(absolutely brilliant movie...),King arthur and Yamakasi..I also got few drama series...Smallville season 4 the O.c season 2, a few divx movies and video clips..

A little bit about work..I was doing just fine in the company..At the time I were writing this the company is on holiday for a week...So it's like a midterm holiday for me..the bosses also give me an angpow and a lot of oranges....I learned a lot during the time here...Audit,Tax,Wordstar,Lotus 123,cantonese and a lot more...They also opened a table for gambling one day before the holiday..Of course I didn't join them...On the day we got an angpow everybody has a smile on their face all day at work..the staff there also got a bonus..we celebrated the day at KFC and spend rest of the day with a lot more talk than work..

With the new system I got hands on Need for Speed Underground 2 and Medal of Honour Allied Assault..NFSU2 was nice with the new gameplay that incorporates a free ride just like Grand Theft Auto..Medal of Honour is just normal..It is an old game with a lot of expansion pack..but I did enjot it a little..My next plan with the system is to get rid of the old monitor an get a spanking new 17" flat monitor..or I just paint it black to settle the problem...

My Jpa's allowances also getting lower day by day..It's just 2 months and I have spend 70% of the money..I bought a Tv,mp3 player,the PC,some clothes and just like that the money goes..If I continue to develop this type of habit I might face the problem in the next future..I just can resist the temptation to spend when I have cash in hand.

Now..my father goes prepaid on the fixed line at home because of the unbearable bills every months..So I don't know whether I can go online at home next time.The system incorporates the use of Ring-Ring card the the topup denomination of rm20 and rm50.The internet callls is higher by rm0.05 per minute.the salesman also did warn that the internet connection might be slightly lower. So, for the time being I only have the chance to go online during the weekend at cyber cafe.

I don't what else to write...Maybe some other time later...........
