1st time jugak pakai dslr. Bli 2nd hand Sony Alpha a300. Bln May xsilap sehari sblm Kak Ila Kedah kawen. Merasa la jd jurugambar x d undang..hehe.. pakai xlama..sempat upgrade lens tamron 18-200, CF card..pastu jual..ade org nak amik harge tinggi..

5. Bli Apple

Dulu mmg teringin nak pakai apple. Tp since harge mahal..d tangguh2 kehendak tuh..arituh sempat la merasa pakai Ipod touch ngan apple macbook white..Macbook dah jual..Ipod touch still pakai..

This was ptotographed during my 48 hours awake weekend. Me and pokli, we wandered around town from 11pm up until 7am. From Jalan Ampang, P. Ramlee, Jalan Tar, Chow kit, Bukit Bintang, Dataran Merdeka, Ampang Lookout Point, Pandan Indah, Pandan Mewah, Petaling Street anf finally Pasar Karat.

Earlier in the morning, I went to Damansara Uptown to COD for Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs and later had lunch at Zainul Nasi Kandar PJ. Surveying around a few shops to install the spring and I settled with the nearby shop for a total cost of RM110(installation+alignment+adjust camber)

Now, my ride has became lowered and stable when attacking corner.

In the absence of a tripod, I successfully created my 1st crappy HDR. I'm using Photomatx PRo 3.1. The wizard was quite esy and u just need to slide a few bars to adjust color, contrast according ur tastebuds..

As i was browsing thru the collection of photo by using Picasa 3, I came across this picture that I captured using the then Canon Powershot S3 IS. The machine could actually produced decent quality photo at low light condition. This however, was taken on a tripod and shutter was released by using 10 seconds timer to eliminate the camera body shake.

It is frustrated to see that the speed is now capped at around 400kbps(1/3 of my subscribed speed). It was because I've already reached the threshold limit of 20gb/months. It is stated in their Fair Usage Policy.

Guess, I would've to wait for the end of month for my speed gettin' back to normal. Either way, I still got tons on movies to be watched. Now sit back and relax. Have a good time enjoying all those movies.

(footnote: I've finished In Bruges, Vicky Christina Barcelona, Bedtime Stories, Gone Baby Gone today..It's a movie marathon from 6.30am up until the time this entry was posted. I paused a few moments for shower, toilet time, prayers, cooking lunch(instant noodles that is)

Old trustworthy bike

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today(and quite late actually)
Nausea, dizzy and tired plus the usual flu
So I decided to take an MC today
Put up a sweatshirt and take the bike to the nearest clinic bout 1 miles away

The doctor checks temperature, throat and blood presure and gave me MC
i run up to the nearest petrol pump to withdraw some cash
n the bike cannot start..the ignition doesnt turn on

OMG, during these hard times the bike chose not to start
with out further a due, push the bike bout 20m to the bike shop(luckily it was near)

There goes my rm63 for the ignition coil and new key...
There foreman did complaint about the work of the previous foreman that i sent for repair(other shop...malay)

Anyone whose got intention to send their bike for repair at KMR motorsorts(near Jalan Pasar)..please avoid to do so...bad workmanship n pricey tooo

Last Monday Aji a.k.a Mohd fanrurazi selamat melangsungkan perkahwinan dengan pasangannya Izan. aku bersama tunangan telah pergi ke majlis tersebut.

On the way p sana, Xahe call ajak pi skali..so tunggu dekat Kamunting toll n gerak ikut jalan lama Bagan Serai. Aku mintak la coordinate GPS from aji since die ade gps dalam henpon e71 nye.

Unfortunately dalam beberapa km nak sampai umahnye tibe2 gps instruct suh masuk off-road(jalan sawah)..rupe2nye jalan kat kampung aji tu x update dalam map tuh.

So, terpakse la benti kedai tanye orang. Sesampai nye di sana, Fara, Shida da tgh makan. Amin lak da blah sebab die da sampai awal lg dr kampung mertuanya di Seberang Prai.

My old P4 system that I bought from Arisa(bukan nama sebenar) had a few enhancements.

Used 512ddr400 for rm40-bought from forummers Lowyat.Net
Used GeForce FX5200 128MB 128-bit for rm45 also boough from forumer

Actually the upgrade was kind of sudden. I didnt plan it either. I was browsing thru the forum and the thought just came in awkwardly. Without much haste I negotiate and deal with the 2 forumer instantly.

Consequently, I used back the old DVi cable and now my surfing experience become sharper and less lag. I am satisfied with this RM85 quick upgrade.

Now, I am eyeing for a used 300gb Ide HDD from a forummer. Might get it if I'm able to bargain it for Rm100

Now I'm in Pasir Gudang on a audit assignment to one of the Group refineries. I stayed in a budget hotel near to Tesco Seri Alam.

For this particular week I opt for kuey teow goreng as my standard meal meaning that I will order kuey teow goreng for every meal that I had while here.

For the record, there is no any stall that serve kuey teow that can have WOW!!! by me..

Please avoid Restoran Fazilah in Rinting(damn oily food served...unbelievably oily) and also Anjung Cafe Kompleks Pasir Gudang(damn slow!!!)..it takes them 30 minutes to bring the drinks and another 10 minutes for the food..

Seminggu berlalu, dan aku x usik pn barley tuh sampai la arinih lepas pekena Maggi Slrrp Kari berapi aku pn rebus la barley tuh..

Sambil makan Maggi dan bergayut kat talipon ngan mak aku tanye khabar, aku pn lupe la aku tgh rebus barley kat dapur.

Pegi je dapor aku tgk air rebusan da kering and barley pn da kekuningan hangus..huhu.

Salah satu sebabnye is kat rumah aku xde periuk besar..So aku rebus dalam periuk kecik dan kuantiti air yg boleh diisi hanyalah sedikit.

Canon Lens Jammed

My Powershot S3 IS calls it quit on 26 December 2008. A day before my engagement. The lens did not want to retract back.

I googled around the net and found out that there's a bunch a people having the same e18 lens error E18 Error and tried to file a class suit against Canon

It has served me well for about a year.

I acquired this camera from M.A(bukan nama sebener) for about 1k plus and now I'm planning to seek a 2nd hand DSLR(maybe Nikon this time) as a replacements.

I already send it to Canon service Centre and they quote a staggering 438 bucks to replace the optical unit.

I think it is not worth it to repair the camera.

John has displayed interest of acquiring my 32' LCD + CPU(P4 system) . I was in dilemma. This setup served me well and I have no complaints. But, there is other side of me tellin' that it was the right time to upgrade to Full HD LCD.

25th Anniversary

As a birthday gift to 25 years of me.. I got a new set of rims(pisang type) for my Beetle.. It costs me RM 1.4k and a new set of tires(not really...got it from a chop shop) and it burns another rm450 to my pocket..

I also got a new GPS Navigator (Goozee) it's a Taiwan made and uses Garmin software. It further put another hole of RM599 to my left pocket a.k.a Credit cards.

Seems like my Beetle got the gift..not really me

Syakila asked me to accompany her to Sogo cos she got something to buy in conjunction with the Sogo S Card Sale preview.

I must say Malaysians are carzy about department store sales. The traffic was huge and the crowd was enormous even its a member day..

Sogo's parking lot was full at noon and we park quite far at Bank Negara. They got quite a deal for comforter, bedsheets and clothes. Looking at the crowd queuing up for cashier, I cancelled most of my purchase..huhu

Its that time of the year where all Muslims are required to fast for a month. I started the routine at home in Ipoh and later catch up a bus back to KL at 9pm. I'm quite optimistic that I can catch the last train back to Pandan.

Unfortunately, the bus managed to arrive Puduraya only at 113o and the last train just took off from Plaza Rakyat Station. I find my way around Puduraya and did asked a few taxis around. 2 out of 5 that i Asked doesnt want to go to Pandan while 2 of them giving a quotation of RM25-30.

I dont think its worth the money to take a taxi and I called Said to come fetch me up with motorbike. Arrived home at 15 past midnite and packing up bag to Port Dickson the morning after..

I heard that Incubus is coming down to Singapore and fortunately the management scheduled me to go Pasir Gudang on that week. What a nice coincidence.The admission is quite pricey = SGD 125 that translates into almost RM 300. Based on the feedback of my fellow colleague that had experience of watching concert there in Fort Canning Singapore, the venue is held in a open space, thus allows visitors watching from far aside for free.

So, i did plan with a buddy down there in JB to go there and watch it from outside lar..Some how a friend of mine in Ipoh pondered that Incubus is also coming down to Malaysia on 15th of March..As far as I know from the Incubus official site, Malaysia is not on the list of their tour.

10 menit berlalu aku keluar dan bersiap...ku perhatikan 5 biji pasu dan teringat untuk menyiramnya

aku ke dapur dan suddenly faiz dgn nada suara yang mengantuk berkata " Wan, tutop pintu tuh"

aku agak hairan lalu terdetik "mayb muzik yang ku pasang terlalu kuat sehingga menggangu tidurnya"

aku tutup pintu biliknya dan meneruskan hasrat ku untuk menyiram pokok sebentar tadi

setelah menyiram pokok aku terus turun ke bawah dan menunggang motosikal

hari ini, aku mahu cuba menggunakan bulatan kg. pandan untuk ke NPE highway

seperti biasa, jalan sangat jammed tetapi masih adu ruang untuk mencilok-cilok

30 menit kemudian aku tiba di subang jaya

semasa melalui pejabat tanah daerah petaling..jam menunjukkan 8 pagi

"Masih awal lagi neh' detik hati kecilku

aku mem "parking' motorku d land opis dan menuju ke kafe nya

ku perhatikan jamal sedang beratur membeli sarapannya

niat awalku adalah untuk membungkus tetapi seteleh bertemu jamal aku tukar fikiran

aku lantas bergegas ke arah lautan makanan

"Boleh tahan juga makanan di sini" aku berfikir sendirian

Ku perhatikan sangat banyak juadah disediakan

"nasi lemak/ketiaw-mee-bihun goreng/bihun soup/roti canai/kuih-muih"

orang juga boleh tahan ramainya

aku mencapai senduk dan menyenduk separuh bihun dan separuh ketiaw, sambal ikan bilis sedikit dan telur mata dan air suam

setelah menikmati juadah bersama jamal/noorizan dan azmi

kami menuju ke opis apabila jam menunjukkan 830 pagi

I am so lazy after work. But I had committed with Ed/Pokli/Epoy that we gonna have a countdown this year. It's been a while since last I went for New Year Countdown..As far as I remember I had once with Areza back in 2002 when I stayed at Section 24 Shah Alam...we countdown in the car in the middle of traffic jam...so pathetic..and then I had once again in 2003 where this time we learned a lesson..We(me/Azhar/Pokli/Hairul/) ...we go with a motorbike..and spent the rest of the nite merayau in the city and slept at Dataran Merdeka..

Present..2008

We(me/Pokli/Ed) went to KLCC with bike around 1115am...find our way to Jalan Ampang..and it's raining....the as usual the counts and firecrackers...about 1am..Pokli's bike cannot start...godek2 the moto..also cannot start...and we decide to tow the motor and luckily it starts...

Hav a supper at Kampung Pandan and Ed pose me a question "How to book a hotel at Genting ek?".. Since the mamak is wifi enabled...without further i browsed the internet using the N80..blablabablaa

We pay our bill and go to the motorbike and wants tp find our way home..and suddenly I pose the question " Let's Go Genting tonite"

and the last thing I found is that I was sleeping at the kaki lima of the Genting Highlands..wep we made it to Genting that nite at about 3am in the morning...

dowh...so tiring of writing this entry...will update later of the activities we had that nite...adios

Rite now I'm at the lobby of Regenc Plaza Hotel Bintulu..It's the 2nd week of our routine audit visit to the refinery here at Tanjung Kidurong...I've been here for last audit visit so its kinda de ja vu for me for everything that I had this year(except its fastingg month and a bigger room this year...a suite to be exact..lucky us..the normal room fully booked and we got a suite for each and evry one of us...other than that...everything is quite the same so far..

juz went back from sarawak..share the limo wit suhaimi to Pandan Indah and have a quick nap till 11pm...went out at 1 am, pick up kak ina n dikda at setiawangsa and zooomed to KLIA...when we arrived, mom's bus did not arrived yet..we waited bout 30 minutes and then she arrived...chat a lil' bit and helped her checked in.she successfully checked in to the international terminal at about 7am...Later we had our breakfast at Setiawangsa and I'm off to Pandan Villa..

Recently the idiot box had been playing an ad from Nike Air.The ad kind of gave me an inspiration or motivation.The ad starts with the scene of an alarm clock waking up a person.Then it continues with a sleepy person waking up and prepared to a training session as in sports.Subsuqently various scene shows a few athlete with different training session which includes swimming,running,cycling and many more.After watching it I fell kind of wanna kick off an exercising routine.For about two months of eating,sleeping and lepaking I have gained weights back.Gambatte ne.......

Of all the drama series that I got from my friend it comes with no subtitle.So I found this website www.forom.com that is really convenient.Now i enjoyed moe watching the drama series such as LOst,Smalville,Prison Break and The oc with the presence of subtitle.I wonder how diligent the person that pepared those subitle because most of the subs are done by the same person...

Job Interview

This is my 1st time of such experience of job interview.Before this I only had one experience of interview regarding the JPA scholarship.So, the interview is at Golden Hope Plantation Berhad.Initially I had no intention to apply for the position.A friend of mine who just work there for about a week said that their department is looking for staff.So, I said why not try, for the sake of gaining the experience of job interview.So before the session I prepared a little by reading newspapers,company backgrounds and so on.I also searched on the tips and hints on attending interview and found out that the Lowyat.Net forum was really useful.A day before the interview I met my friend that work there to get some hints on the interview.Then the night before I slept quite late at 2am because I didn't prepare any cover letter so I had to go to cyber cafe at 12 midnite to prepare one.Luckily the template from Graduan website simply do the trick.

Then the day of interview I woke up as early as 6am.I left Ar's home at 7.15am and arrived at the PNB tower an hour later.There I met another friend of mine whose also attending the interview session.Soon as we arrived at level 19 we contacted Amin and he guided us to the Department.We had to fill the form and then me as the lucky number one for the session.The panel consist of two person, A Lady and A Man.The interview takes about half an hour.I had anticipated very much of the question such as "Tell me 'bout yourself","Were you involved in leadership role" and much more standard question during interview.I think I did OK for the interview.

I rarely watched the Homegrown show at 8tv,the show where they feature a local band,some tips with the instrument and live recording.then one night without any attention I turn on the 8tv and the shows just about to start.So I watched them.The band that featured on that day was Muck.Honestly I did heard of the band and I know that the band was from Ipoh but I never heard of their songs before.Ok then,to my surprise when the band were introduced I saw some familiar faces in the band.I'm certain that the bassist is an old time school friend of mine.All of sudden I'm getting excited and follow the show till the end.I'm not havin a problem recognizing the face because I actually just met him sometime during the Raya time..Read the Ol' Sri Kinta Boys entry.

Form the last meeting he never mentioned bout playing in a band or somethin,but he did mentioned that his life was on the road.I don't know if they were jokin' but they said that he got no home as in homeless..Nah I don't know..But certainly I am proud that one of my friend make it to the local scene...

The countdown starts today

Officially I report to the JPA today of my finished studies.Early in the morning me and other buddies headed to Uitm to print the temporary transcript.Initially it not went to well as the staff at the office whose in charge of those transcript thingy was not available.Then we have to face the not so kind staff at other office to print the transcript.Somehow during the process we had to rush to Bendahari to pay for the transcript and went back to get it.The system also hang but luckily we managed to get it done.Since it is early we zoomed to Putrajaya with the help of Areza.Finding the place was not tough since I just went to putrajaya last Sunday.We had luch at Alamanda and straight after that to JPA building.The procedure was quite simple.We need to fill another 2 copies and then he validated that we have report.The very next thing I had to do is fill in the SPA 8 form.

Tea Tarik and Spareparts

Early in the morning we had breakfast of nasi lemak and roti canai at my cousins house.As I had the sip of the tea tarik then I realised somethin' special bout the tea.It was no ordinary tea.Then I drink a bit more and then I certainly feel that this tea was not made by my cousin,It was the mamak's tea.Haha.. turns out to be true..they even bought the tea..Actually it is no a big deal but As for my family it was normal to buy food outside but for tea tarik..Hmm..Not in a million years...

After the breakfast,mom,dikda and kakdik went to Jalan TAR shopping while me and dad circling around KL to find various spareparts for the classic bikes and Volkswagen.We went to Sentul to buy the tyre for the bikes.Turns out they were really cheap here as according to my dad if it were in Ipoh the tyre would cost Rm200 for 1 while we got it for only RM 140 at Sentul.Then we headed to Jalan Ipoh to search fOr the Volkswagen parts then.Of course my dad had along conversation with the guy at the shop because obviously they share the same interest..Somehow I got enlightened by the major parts of the volkwagen car during the chat.

Back to Sabah

Today I,m going to KLIA with family to send my sister who is going back to Sabah for the 2nd semester.We departed from home as early as 9am as the flight is on 3pm.We stopped at Dengkil RnR and had satay kajang there.As we arrived Klia it was 12pm and we hangout there for about 2 hours till my sis checked in to the flight.Then, we headed to Putrajaya and late lunch and Pizza Hut Alamanda.The crowd was overwhelming.After that we went to Gombak..my uncle house.We had dinner at seafood restaurant somewhere near and we spend the night at my cousin house in Wangsa Maju.

Airasia Airbus Celebration

Currently Airsia is offering 2 million free seats in celebration the newly bought Airbus by the company.i did booked the free seats for my parents.Again they decided to go to Sabah.The cost for the tickets only 40 that is rm25 for the airport taxes and Rm15 for the fuel surcharge.

Camping

Me and the other buddies are considering to go camping for this semester break.We have planned to camp at Teluk Batik and Pangkor Island.We've done research on the stuff needed for camping purposes such as those peripherals that necessary to hold a bbq party,sleeping bag and foods.Initially it was 8 of us but at last in was only the 4 of us that managed to go camping.Thus,the plan was cancelled instead we only go to the beach only.Somehow we did put up the tent to get the feeling of camping.After the beach trip I got bad sunburn on my face.The skin badly mengelupas.it takes about a week to recover the skin back.

Selamat Tinggal Shah Alam

Its been a week that I'm home.As usual I utilised this first week to recover back the sleep that I lost during the final exam period.So basically I woke up late everyday except of weekends cause of my mom will force me to wake up early.I left Shah Alam for good on monday evening n arrived at 9.30pm home.As soon as I arrived Misya came to my house to copy all the stuff that I brought back.Somewhere during the week I managed to go play pingpong twice but this time we got a new port that is more convenience.It is more cheaper and closer to home.It is Rm5 for 2 hours session.Furthermore we booked one table but we can use up to 3 tables cause the place is rarely full with people.We also managed to go to mandi sungai but the luck was not on our side cause as we arrived the rains pour heavily.Somehow we mandi a little bit during the rains to compliment the effort that we make to go mandi sungai.

Early in the morning Misya called me asking for breakfast at Nasmir.We go there by car and coincidentally we met with a bunch of old primary school mates there.Initially I waved hands and then shake hands with them and inadvertently we joined them having breakfast.Those are friends that I last met back 10 years then.Everyone changing.Everyone with their own agenda now.We chatted a bit about old school memories.Who already got married.Who goes overseas and who worked where and such things.I dont know them very much but I recognized them.Somehow it was the unofficial reunion of Sri Kinta ol' boys since I went there with Misya whom his alma mater is also Sri Kinta.

My little sister studying in Uitm Sabah is not back during the Hari Raya holiday cause of financial constraint and considering that a week after raya the final exam starts.So for the first time,our family members is not complete during Hari Raya.My mom did send some Hari Raya cookies for her.I guessed what is she doing over there during the morning of Raya.Since the relatives over there are back to Peninsular Malaysia,she has nobody besides friends to celebrate Raya..

Currently I'm doing a research on a laptop cause my little sister want to buy one.This time around I looked out for the branded one because I've had the experience of the clone ojne before to be exact Prestigio.It sucks big time..The buddget is not much around Rm3k something.The possible candidates are Acer Travelmate 2419Ncli and HP Compaq Evo.The specification of the two are same but the latter are expensive by Rm100.This two model are quite cheap because it does not came with the pre-installed OS.The one with Celeron processors are even cheap for about RM 2.5k.I'm thinkin of Centrino based considering that this is a one time investment..so spend some RM on the processor.Other features which includes Built in Wifi,Combo Drive,40gb hdd and 256 ddr2 ram.Somehow I figured out that there are moving trends happened here,everytime my sister got accepted to University they get a laptop except for me..Hmmm weird..

Veggie

One midnite I'm lookin for somethin' as a late nite snack.So, I went to the kitchen and look up for snacks or chips all over the cabinet.Later I opened the fridge.What the heck happened..There are vegetables all over the places.So I guessed where all this come from.Moreover there are some exotic vegetables I guessed which I never seen before.Among others are tomatoes,sawi,capsicum,chillis,mini cabbage,strawberry and many more..I'm stunned for a while..Why..my mom hardly cook and prepare veggie meals..Furthermore our family are not so veggie friendly..The first thing in the next morning I asked what's up with all the veggie..then I learned that a friend of my mom that resides in Cameron Highland come over to visit and all those veggie are her 'buah tangan'..Hmm..whatever..must take quite some time to finish all those veggies..
